Location

The property is located in the old village centre of Dangio, on the right hand side going up north from the main road of the village. The village of Dangio is served by regular bus service on the route Biasca-Olivone-Lucomagno.
It is 18 km away from the motorway exit of Biasca, which can be covered by car in 20 minutes.
There is an open restaurant, a grocery shop, a kindergarten, while the elementary schools are in Olivone and the middle school in Acquarossa, two centres where we can find all the essential services (hospital, doctors, dentists, banks, shopping centres, etc.).)
For the summer the vast network of hiking trails offers beautiful walks throughout the valley, while for the winter we have the ski centres of Campra, Campo Blenio and Nara.
The whole Blenio valley is called "the valley of the sun", so Dangio can also enjoy excellent sunshine throughout the year.
The building is on three residential levels, plus the cellar and the attic.
Period building (ca. year 1800) totally renovated in 1992. Purchased by the current owners in 2009 and subject to further interventions.
Perimeter walls in stone, typical of the period, and plastered with traditional lime.
Internal brickwork. Solid wood windows with insulating glass.
Heating system with Swedish-style stove, wood-burning with stainless steel flues, as well as electric elements in each room.

Plumbing rebuilt, hot water through boiler located in the basement.

General appreciation:
the building as a whole is still in very good condition, the interior is well maintained and tastefully and simply furnished. There are no visible problems with damp and medium-term maintenance work (4-5 years).

Cellar floor: stone access staircase leading to two large vaulted cellars with gravel floor. No signs of damp.

1.floor: kitchen with all appliances, marble worktop, dining room, living room with Swedish wood-burning stove

2nd floor: Access by a comfortable solid oak staircase, two rooms with access to the covered terrace.
